The male/singing half of Magic Man formerly recorded semi-ambient piano led tracks under the moniker "The Tumbled Sea." He produced 2 albums under that name, one of which is available for free below. Check out his Myspace for more music if you like it. Other than songwriters though the projects don't seem to have much in common. The Tumbled Sea being simply piano and occasional string/woodwind while Magic Man is just electronics and vocals. However, I've spent a lot of time with Real Life Color (Magic Man's debut album) this year and I can hear some resemblance in the melodies created.The mood conveyed is a bit more somber and the instruments used are vastly different but you can hear the same creative voice in both.
